Looks nice!

How'd the dye take to the blue gears? I tried it (successfully) on a set of T500 gears, but those were white.

Black on the blue was excellent. I had some white main gears that I tried to make orange to match the tail blades, with low to moderate success.

Here's mine the day I got it. Since then, I've gone through 2 of the 1700kv motors, and the tail came apart. Each time it was still on the ground, so no damage. I've also got some Rotortech blades, but I have yet to throw them on.

I'm still kind of impressed on how long this bird can stay up on that 22v battery.

I found the red "window-less" canopy a bit hard to see against an overcast sky so here is my first attempt...

That one wasn't bent, brand new out of the Align bag (stock G5 one was bent out of the box...). Probably just a stress fracture I guess.

ive bought 2 sets of flybars and both have been bent one frol a lhs and the other from helidirect. do the trex ones fit ?

Yup, they are identical. I actually like the look of the align SS ones so i use them.
