Tarot 450 Pro V2
Am I crazy to be considering to buy the Tarot flybarless pro v2 and moving the electronics from my Align SE V2 over to it to convert it to flybarless? I have the 430XL, 65 mgs, 9257 which used to be the sweet set up on my SE V2 to move over. Throw a Beast X on the Tarot and be ahead of the ball game. I think I can sell the Align SE V2 frame and non compatible spares for $60 or so.
What are your thoughts? Option 2....sell the SE V2 for $200 to $250 complete and buy the Align 450 3GX having to sell the 3GX and buy a Beast X. Benefits....digital 410 servos and 450 MX motor. This is the most expensive option. I am a mild 3D flier.

Crazy like a fox bro. I defintely approve of your plan. The Tarot is probably the best clone available. Go with the first option

Judging from the Tarot parts that I've bought, I'd go with buying the Tarot and fitting Hitech servos, and a BeastX.
I doubt you'll get that kind of money for the SE V2 If you go with the Align super combo, why not give the 3GX a try - I'm quite happy with it on my 550 V2

shoot, the electronics included in the Pro V2 combo look usable to me. Fly it as-is!

My 450 SE V2 is upgraded to a sport. What I figured was that I could come to $200 or so parting it out. With the flybarless take over...it may be worthless...lol!
I have heard good things about the Tarot over the last year or so. I hate to buy an Align combo and have to sell everything off. The Tarot seems like a good route to go. I am more familiar with the Beast X. Everyone at the field flies it so I feel pretty comfortable with the set up. I may look into an Align bare bones kit. What would swing it is the servos. I wonder how much better the digital 410's will perform compared to the 65's?

Tarot 450 Flybarless
I bought the Tarot 450 flybarless silver kit because I like the silver finishing on a 450 and to see how it compares in quality to my genuine Align 450 Pro. The quality is spot on, much better than any clone I've built before and the Tarot Super Combo now comes with the ZYX 3-axis gyro included. I have not received my gyro yet so she has not been flown, but by all accounts this thing is brilliant. No doubt, this is the best bang for your buck 450 flybarless heli out there.
I've installed the Align digital servos and Scorpion 6S (2221-1630KV) power system in mine, can't wait to see what this baby can do. Super Combo http://www.oomodel.com/tarot-450-pro...o-p-61832.html ARF Kit http://www.oomodel.com/tarot-450-pro...s-p-61751.html |

Would be really interested in hearing more about this option.
Are the components fabricated out of the same materials? Is fabrication quality as precise? What about documentation? |
