SAB hasn't posted on this thread since back in december. I think once they got their own forum on their site working they figured customers would just communicate with them at www.goblin-helicopter.com SAB GOBLIN USA has started a thread here to support usa customers but other than Bert Kammerer, I'm not sure how closely affiliated they are with the company.

SAB take a very long time to respond to anything on their own forum. The few questions/concerns they do respond to are pretty short (eg. we will make better now) and not very useful. Also, their forun is heavily moderated so many of these questions/concerns either take a long time to be approved/posted or just disappear imho.

Looks like SAB GOBLIN USA is going to be a more reliable source for technical assistance, esp. thanks to Bert. Unfortunately, they still need to pipeline any QC concerns to SAB, Italy. Hopefully they will get a more timely response.

Cheers,
TomC

Thumbs up

Twelve thumbs up to SAB from me

My canopy was quite badly cracked and I sent them an e-mail with pictures of the cracks and they responded within a few hours saying they will replace my canopy.. I then replied to their answer with another question and again I got an answer back within hours.. I couldn't ask for more than that so at this moment I'm pretty pleased with SAB and how they handled the canopy issue..
No consolation to those who don't get an answer but I'd just thought I share my experience.. Hope you get yours sorted out as well..

A couple of pics of the cracks.. The last one just looks sweet, no cracks on that one

One of my problems are a crack in my canopy, a huge one.
Second problem is that part number H0082-S and HC150-S broke in my maiden flight and no reasson why they just broke, machine is waiting for that parts to show up in few fun flys like the IRKS on April 7 and the orlando fun fly.

If you are waiting for a response in this forum you are going to be disapointed.
Contact who you bought it from with pics, Contact SAB Directly.

I cannot think of any manuf that use forums to resolve individual issues.

Wow who did you get helicopter from that seems like a stupid response.. Authorized dealers are required I believe to uphold warranty issues or manufacturing issues as they deal directly with sab.....

I call the distributor yesterday, he is a nice guy, he answer the phone every time I call, he told me that SAB is rare to respond
he emails SAB about my problem with no responce, he told me that the best that he can do is give me the canopy at cost.

On his website retail price for the canopy is $139.99, so imagine how much is going to be the cost. Nice I have to pay for a canopy that comes damage.

I want to SAB explain me this customer service.

That's SAB guarantees their products to be free from manufacturer defects, so demand a replacement - http://www.goblin-helicopter.com/sho...php?page_id=16

If they are ignoring you try a PM to Bert as well.

I'd leave Bert out of this if you've already tried to contact him. He is not the one responsible. Just sayin...
