Default Trex 600n compatibility

So there is a different frame for the new dfc kits? Or they all the same? And is there a different dfc head? I see 2 different feathering shafts and a few main shafts what do I need to have all the latest parts?

The basic frame layout has not changed since the original 600N. There's been some minor tweaks, but nothing to prevent them from being compatible.

The 600N uses the same DFC head as the 600E. The only difference is the main shaft used. http://www.alignrcusa.com/index.php?...oducts_id=2730

Similarly, the "new" FL head is identical for both the 600E and 600N, except for the main shaft. http://www.alignrcusa.com/index.php?...oducts_id=1872

The "new" feathering shaft isn't a requirement, but I don't see a reason why you couldn't use it if you so choose.

Thanks Derek that was very helpful! I purchased a main shaft that said 600n dfc but it was to short. What the deal with that? I measured mine its the 179mm one so I know what one to get now jus wondered if there's a different frame that uses the shorter shaft?

No, the shorter shaft simply doesn't reach the third bearing block.

The third bearing block really isn't necessary. But because of consumer demand, align released a longer shaft that reaches the third bearing.
