Default FlySky FS-T6

Wasnt sure where to put this so please feel free to move it if its not in the right place. Using a FS-T6 on a new 250 SE build and Im trying to understand "gyroscope" function in the menu. I cant find anything on the net in regards to setting it up or if it needs to be turned on? Mode are "normal" and "idle up" with a standard 50% gain. I assume this would be for fine tunning the gyro. But question is if left off would the heli still hold just fine? Would hate to have it on in "normal" mode and everything be ok then hit "idle up" and lose the heli. If left on, what are some safe gains to adjust the two positions to?

Simple case of manufacture language.

This is simply the tail gyro gain. If it's off you will be in rate mode and yes the tail will hold in forward flight. Not backing up or side ways, the helicopter will weather vain!

Each mode Normal and Stunt should have a Gyro gain setting. Just input a suitable gain above 50% so it's in heading hold and you will be fine. Bump it up a little at a time until the tail wants to wag then back it off a bit.
