Default Just installed my new jive...7 blinks

I just received my replacement esc from Germany last week. I did not install anything besides the ec5 and motor bullets. Just yesterday I stayed up all night to finish my goblin 500, installed kde g3 motor ( nice quality!).

I plug In my battery, all I get is 7 blinks. I look in the manual and it was polarity error. Why did I get this error when my connectors where installed the correct way?

I had this issue before and it was a jumper plug issue. I made myself a new plug via a modified bind plug and it worked like a champ after that.

Correction - mine was 6 blinks. Oops...

Was the discount reasonable?

My guess would be that it was crashed by previous owner. There is no way they can warranty mechanical damage to an esc. This would explain why it worked fine and then failed.

AFAIK Kontronik warranty is non-transferable. Would mechanical damage also describe overheating and desoldering or in other words, would a warranty cover this?
