Hi,
Is anyone using a diffence head beside the Thunder tiger FBL?
If so what are you using and how is it?

Not on the X50 but on an older Raptor I have used the RJX head. It was a direct fit and no mods required. The long links that came with it were also the correct length.

I tried the TracX (Compass) 50 head on it. I didn't care for all the fiddling with small washers and such.

Likewise I have an RJX head on my R50 titan and flies awesome.
Build quality and fit and finish is outstanding for the money. A few people have recommended replacing the plastic ball links due to them breaking but easy enough to use TT ones.

I may get an RJX head for my x50 when funds permit although I'm toying with the idea of using the TT FBL blade grip posts on my flybar head and adding a swashlocker to convert my head to FBL with minimal cost.

I sure like how well the stock TT FBL setup flies. It's soft enough around center stick, but is gnarly when banging them.
