Thought this was a pretty funny story to share. So I was flying in the local university gym last night practicing some stuff I have been doing on the simulator. Battery #1 goes great, not a single crash with fast forward flight, tornadoes, loops, flips, etc. Second battery is going good - just one crash doing a loop. I get about 30 feet in the air and BOOM - lights in the whole gym go out. I was like "$H!T!" Somehow I landed it landing gear down. Good thing it has a blue light...

Lights on a timer or was someone laughing at you as they flipped the switch?

Good question. I didn't see anyone else but very possible. I also thought "Is this a hint that I'm not allowed in here?" I would hope someone would talk to me before doing that. I went to college there but graduated 2 years ago. I still play racquetball in there too. I always stay out of anyone's way doing actual school sports but who knows. It is the perfect place to fly in the winter months.
