Default Maiden:) in new part of the world

I just flew my new Logo 600 SE in indonesia. New experience since i am not use to tho kind of warm weather.

My setup is Jive 80 HV and scorp 4035-500KV on 11 T and mode 4 with 67% on the throtlle curve. What i am worried about is heat i could almost not hold my hand on the motor. I have no way of measuring temperature down her.

What set up are you guys that live in the warmer part of the world using.

maybe i should go with a another motor?

Thanx for any answers .

Try a higher head speed for a short test, low rpm can raise the amps and cause over heating, its the same a starting you car in 2nd gear,

When I ran a Scrop 4035-500 on my SE it landed 160F or higher in 95F+ ambient temps.. Your not gonna hold ya hand on that motor. Don't think the heat is going to hurt the motor but I ended up switching to a Kontronik 700-45 which runs an easy 30F cooler.

I am flying since a year the L600 with Pyro45 at 29-33C.. motor is hot, but never had an issue.Certainly not so comfortable to fly at those temperatures!

Unfortunately, i don't live in a warmer part of the world

But i have to say, that motor runs HOT
Scorpions are known for that. Just keep your bearings oiled and you should be just fine..
