They're good blades. I'm flying them on mine (as we know edge is no more!)

They fly nice, and very similar to edge I'd say. Cyclones would be more of a jump IMO.

Rotortech 560's are all I flew on my L500/550 for several years. They are GREAT blades.

I've been flying some Edge 553's just because I got a deal on them and I think the Rotortechs (granted they were slightly longer) flew better.

Rotortech is/are one of the longest produced blades on the market. They have been around since long before Edge, Rail, Cyclone and other popular blades. They fly great and had the "modern" tip profile long before other brands jumped to that design.

Back when Vblades, SAB and MS Composit were the premium blades of the day, Rotortech was right there along side them.

At the end of the day... almost all of these blades are coming from the same factory, Fun-Key.

lol , they just look like crap compared to other blades , mains are white and brown , tails are all black , with a weird tip shape , that all goes good with a orange and blue heli if your color blind , but you see a picture with edge blades and you assume that's what your getting , both of my other logos have edges on them ....

switch blade are the old edge blades ....

I think Mikado mentions this in blades description.

Rotortech is one of the best brands in this hobby. Their blades are light and have good collective pop and cyclic reaction. And they are more affordable than other premium blades.

Hello
As far as I'm concerned, remember that Funkey/Rotortech IS the manifacturer of their onwn brand and also producing Edge, Rail, xblades.
The other main manifacturers are SAB, Spinblades and I believe that HH is baking their revolution.

Rotortech tail blades are the best I've ever used.

They are light and consistently well balanced.

I purchased them by choice for my 550SX.

FWIW I still have my original Edge blades that came with my 550SX in the box. I flew them once.

too bad they wouldn't/couldn't make a deal with Bert for switch/edge blades or put cyclones in the kits , but if nothing else let people know what blade the kit comes with , with the blades being well over 10% of the cost of the kit , I have 3 logos now , first 2 came with edge blades and I expected this one to also , the description for the 690 doesn't call out what blade it comes with , but the picture right next to the kit options shows edge blades , the manual shows and calls out edge tail blade part numbers , so what Is one to think ?
the 600's description does call out edge blades ....

My 550SX v2 came with Edge mains and RotorTech tails. Both quite badly out of balance. First I thought my blade balancer had an issue but nope, just needed some tape. The CG was on the same spot on both main blades and tail blades though.

It's always a hit and miss with blades. I think of it like car wheels, you always have to add weights to balance them out, no matter what they cost.

I guess averages win out.

I've purchased a lot of Rotortech tail blades in 3 sizes and have been consistently impressed with their balance. I know others who have had very similar luck.

I've had nearly as good a luck with Radix tail blades.

I've had very poor luck with Edge blades( consistently out of balance) and I've had hit or miss luck with Rail tail blades.

No idea if you guys are all color blind or if I am. What you call brown is like a bronze-goldish tone to me and I find it quite cool

Besides that, those things fly veeeeeeery close to EDGE SE, a little more neutral off-center and well tracking but still high terminal rates and strong collective. The aeroflat tip makes them super quiet and efficient as well, the tips still fly in the same path when you load them..

Full recommendation from me. Worthy replacement for EDGE.

Can't post that video often enough, but I feel like I need to spread my happiness all over the place
