Did you lube the belt and the idler bearings?

My Atom developed a similar squeak-it was the dry belt rubbing the flanges on the idler pulleys.

I could hear the clicking, but could not identify the source-my apologies.

Make sure all the bearings are lubed, for the squeaking issue.

i also have one more quick question. how do i prevent my flight pack wires from getting cut on the frame? this happened twice already. first time i heat shrinked it. second time i plug up and see smoke and unplugged it fast...pulled out the battery tray..and its cut again. im trying my best to be careful when loading and unloading...but i just dont know

The first thing everytime I receive a new model is to sand the edges of the frame to prevent any cutting of wires, lipos etc. I presumed you sand your frames.

Mine had the klicking noise develop too! its something to do with the one way bearing. I found that if I pulled the tail pully gear away from the main gear on one side it would go away. I took the hole gear assembly apart but I couldnt find any obvious issue so I put it back together again and the click was gone! I think it had something to do with the lateral load from the belt. If I took the belt off there was no click!

well i took out the main gear/auto gear...and the noise is coming from these gears when i spin em by hand i still hear the squeak and the clicking

edit: ok. i cleaned out the one way bearing. (was really oily and black stuff all in it) and put in some grease. and closed it back up...squeak is now gone. i still get a click noise, but not as bad as before. i did notice i can get one of the bearings in the hub to click but turning it back and forth over and over and ill hear it every once in a while...but it feels pretty smooth...maybe i need to replace that bearing

I just noticed on the click noise? On mine I can hold the main gear with my hand then grab the head and move it back and forth I noticed a slight gap in the bolt that holds the main gear to the main shaft? I mean the main gear moves side to side on the main shaft. Like the bolt holding the main gear is to small in diamiter is this normal with the 7hv? Or could I have gotton my main shaft upside down? I was thinking this could be the click your hearing??

There is play on the bolt through the main shaft if there isn't a tiny bit, something is wrong. You should not crank down on that bolt of or the grub screws that go into the OWB as it will warp the assembly a bit making OWB failure or wear more likely. I found that the squeak on mine was coming from the tail older pulley on the tail case You don't want the idler touching the belt as it can wear prematurely and start to squeak.
