I figured If long battery cables are such a problem then there would not be all these multicopters flying around... some of the big ones have really long cables and I have not seem many of them fall out of the sky due to "ripple".
Well, the Kosmik is arguably the best esc on the planet. Pretty much the best of everything, except the ability to allow outside gov, or I would have one.

All I can say is something took out my esc, and it wasn't a Castle. Later the replacement Castle with the same motor showed excessively high ripple effects? Not sure, and am ok being shown it isn't a big deal. All the dual inline batts I run in my 7 and 800s have long wires interconnected with bullets. No way around that.
I use a new silver based nano tech product from perfectpathtech@gmail.com to lube all my connectors, eliminates all the micro arcing. (you hardcore guys should be using this stuff btw!) Pretty much zero ripple since then. And much much better electrical transmission as it cut line resistance down by huge huge margins. I also use 10g wire. And I haven't had issues since.

Maybe your Grandmother would like to see the maiden?

Anyway good luck

Well, I would not consider her a "Technical" person. She would probably find it as boring as my wife does :-)

Thanks... after double checking my TX and vBar configurations, going over all the screws and spending a little time on the simulator... I think I will be fine.

Maiden went really well. Got the headspeed, tail gyro and every thing else dialed in on the first pack. Flew 3 more packes with not even a warning in the vBar log.

The Xera 4035 is working fine. At 1250 rpm the PWM never went above 85% during simple stall turns, circuits and loops. No bogging on pitch pumps either so I thing it will work fine for my basic level of flying. The tri-tail holds great at 1250 and 1450. Hard pitch pumps cause it to break out at 1000 but that's ok as I only do hover maneuvers at that rpm.

There was an approaching storm so there where some sudden gusts out of no where and the tri simply ignored them :-)

This is one fun heli! I love how everything seems to happen in slow motion when compared to my X5 (520mm)
