Default Puff the magic lipo...

...my Align 1250mah (6S) comes down fat and puffy after a flight (both of them)! Not the case with my 1.3 Nano-Techs after a similar flight...

Normal for the align lipos? Everything is stock, dont know what head speed, running v-curve 90-85-80-85-90, a pretty hard 3d flight that lasts about 3.30 mins...

Nothing is hot, motor and esc temp is basically the same as it was before the flight and the batteries is just lukewarm (both nano and align), but the aligns is puffed up. Just **** it and keep flying?

That's pretty normal for Align packs. They've always been pretty poor quality, but I do know that they seem to do ok even if they puff (at least for a little while). I never really trusted them as main packs but they do ok as starter and receiver packs.

Kind of what I figured, just wanted to make sure that it was "normal"...

Puffy the M Dragon I have been running the 45c 1250 Aligns and they have been holding up very well but I am not running as hard as you as I am getting 4:20 with 28% average remaining . I had a set of Spyders that puffed some on me right away and 100 flights later there IR was still perfect and they where still performing just like new. One thing to take notice of is a lot of the company's now have thin tin plates on the outside of the packs so this hold the pack tight and does not allow for expansion. The pack feels nice and square even though things may be happening inside . The Thors, Gens Ace and many other have this , I really wonder if it is better for the pack to be able to expand some. I have no idea if it is good or bad to hold them in tight .
