Default Align 250SE Hughes MD500E glazing question

I am in the process of finishing the fitting of my T-rex 250SE inside the Align NY238M Hughes 500 fuselage.Everything has gone well, and I'm very pleased with the result.

My question is....regarding the side glazing, has anyone encountered overheating issues with all the windows fitted?

I plan on permanently fitting the forward two windows, but the rear two I want to make removable for ease of access to the screws securing the frame to the floor.

But, before I go to the trouble, I want to find out if there is enough air flow to prevent any overheating problems.

I would be interested to hear others views on this please.

Many thanks.

I never bothered with putting the rear door glass in to keep it cool inside. If there were lower kv motors available, I might revisit that but the airflow is needed in my opinion. It gets hot as it is, but the ESC seems to run without getting too overheated. I would put some black screen behind the door openings which will maintain the illusion of windows but allow air in. I do understand exactly why you don't want to make them permanent. You could make screen panels with metal frames that can pop out when you need access. Hope you get what you are looking for.

Thanks Don,

The black screening is something I hadn't considered. It's well worth looking at

I've seen some fine black mesh somewhere that would serve the purpose....I just have to remember where now
