Depends on the voltage you want to run on your servos, I dont want to run 5.4V or full 8.4V from the pack, so I got a Perfect regulators Spekline regulator that is adjustable from 6V to 6.5V. that way I can run 6.5V on the whole system.

6.5 would be nice. the part that im wondering is if i need a regulator for every servo? trying to keep the weight down and simple. is that the only way do drop down the voltage? Thanks pal!

You use the Spekline regulator on the battery side of the receiver then use the unregulated ports on the receiver.
