Anyone using Hyperion G5 batteries..

Very interested in trying these batteries but trying to get some feedback..Anyone using the G5 hyperion batteries, specifically the 6s 5000mah?

Not much talk here.. I may order a set up for my 700c and thunder and see how they perform.. I remember back in the day they were pretty popular

Never heard of them..Roaring top.. Hyperion has been around a long time, would be nice if someone who uses their new batteries can chime in..Not much action in this sub forum..

Check out the Roaring Top posts in this forum. Someone recommended the RT lipos to me last week after have good luck with a pair of 6s 5000's... Good price too. So will see...

Not having any luck with ordering my packs without the optional deans plug or bullets.. I don't use either plug. Is there an option I am missing on roaring top website?

Most lipos come with no connectors so you can use whatever you want. I find the EC5s the best for 500-700s.. and these I find are the best IMO... (believe it or not) from hobbyking! I buy them by the 15 or 20 at a time so I don't need to order again. But solder on whatever you want.

Yes I already know that, you didn't understand my question.. roaringtops website doesn't allow you to choose no connector.. On all my large helis I only use castle 6.5mm connectors ..One of the best connectors out there..
