Default 12fg pitch to rudder mixing problem

Hi,

Ive got some weird pitch to rudder mixing going on even though it's disabled in the setup.

at 100% pitch a get +2 rudder and at -100% pitch i get -2 rudder.

I've gone through all of the menus and cant find anything enabled that could cause this.

Are there any hidden options that could cause this type of problem?

Hi,

no idea what it could be. it is strange though...

i would just try to setup a completely new model on your radio. From the beginning. Making sure you have everything centered and all mixers disabled before you start programming it....

good luck,

cyril

Hi,

Just tried a completely new model , helicopter, swashtype h-1 and left all the other settings default and it's doing the same thing but the rudder goes from -1 at -100 pitch/throttle to +3 at 100% pitch/throttle.

maybe try to update your radio to the latest version. If you already have that one, install it again.

cheers,

yeah mine doesnt do that by itself, it's linked to the position of the throttle/pitch stick.

I've ran the software update twice and each time it updates it changes, after the first update the rudder range changed from -2/+2 to 0/+6 then ran it again and it changed to 0/+5.

Not sure what's going on with it but hoping it's software rather than hardware.

turns out it was caused by upgrading from the 1.6 firmware to 3.0.

The unit had to be sent back to the distributor and apparently had the firmware re-installed and the unit "recalibrated".

It is now running the version 3.0 firmware without the problem occuring.
