Default DX7S and PPM??? Orange RXR615X

I have a orange RX and a Afromini Amaze rev3 (Mini Naze32) http://www.getfpv.com/multi-rotor-fr...ni-naze32.html

Does my DX7S not support PPM?

I have everything wired up right I think but when i go into the baseflight software im not getting any transmitter inputs.

Is there anything I need to do to enable PPM on my DX7S?

If the DX7S is incapable of PPM??? do the new DX7 blacks or DX9's support PPM?

I can't find any info on google on why this isn't working.

PPM output would be from the Rx. SPM Rxs dont output PPM but IIRC there are a few specific Orange that do.
It looks like this controller supports SPM remote input. That looks like the way to go. Attach a remote Rx to the Serial Rx input.

I'm not sure what your saying with all the abbreviations.

I'm using
a Spektrum DX7S radio
a Orange RX R615X receiver
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=65950

I have a 3 wire servo lead going from the PPM( RC Input here http://www.abusemark.com/downloads/afromini_rev3.pdf )

Then that 3 wire servo lead goes into my batt/bind port on the orange RX.

I'm bound and have a solid light on the orange RX, but no signal's are making it from my transmitter..in the software on the PC moving the sticks isn't doing anything.

EDIT: I do have a spare Orange Sat.. i could try that i guess.

It should be working with my DX7S though? nothing special about the radio transmitter side of things?

Your trouble isnt with the Tx. Its most likely if it is hooked up right and the Rx is actually working correctly that you dont have the controller configured correctly with baseflight.

Fixed it. had to call "Feature PPM" from the command line in Baseflight.. to enable PPM
