Mine today in 12-20mph winds...........But, 71 degrees. Just got my Throttle Jockey Pro setup and it seems to be doing its job based on the feel and the sound changes when engaged.

just finished painting this one. It was my 2nd time masking and painting a canopy. Borrowed the design from canopy fx.

Some more images of my 600N Pro
Here are some brand new images of my Align T-Rex 600N Pro. I've just changed the main tank clunk line as the original had split, both at the clunk and the exit of the tank. I am not sure if it was my doing by using a wirestrip on the clunk line both at the clunk and at the exit of the tank or if it was because the original clunk line was way too thin and flimsy in the first place. The header is temporarely fastened to the maintank with hook and loop tape.
Equipment is in no particular order of preference: JR DS8915 for cyclic JR DS8700G for servo w/homemade IN4001 stepdown regulator Hitec HS605BB for throttle Hitec HS65MG for CSM CarbSmart mounted on the align mixture mount CSM CarbSmart CSM SL720 gyro Futaba GV-1 governor Spektrum AR7000 rx Align 2in1 (new model) Thunder Tiger RedLine 53H engine Hatori #523 tuned pipe (specifically for the 53H) Thunder Tiger Raptor header tank SAB 600mm carbon blades Otherwise completely stock. Enjoy! |

Painted plastic canopy
I didn't like the decals on my sport canopy and decided to paint it. Here is the result.
I copied the design from one Canomod canopy (not exactly the same but similar), because I liked it. I used 2 component automotive paints and clear varnish. It took 4 evenings from start to finish. First I sanded the plastic canopy throughly, there should not be any shiny area left. Then I primed it with Gunze Sangyo MrSurfacer 1000, painted, varnished and polished. It is as tough as a fiberglass canopy finish now. Check my canopy repair thread for details. I printed the decals with my ALPS printer onto clear decal paper. I didn't forget my sign They were sealed with a heavy coat of clearcoat. |

Thanks. Didn't fly it yet, I don't know. But I'm used to flying the 450, so any color on 600 will be visible for me

I'll replace them with Align's 3 way fuel filter when it arrives. Both units combined into a single one, simpler setup. |
