I convert my nitro birds to electric with a clutch. I fly mostly scale and it sounds cool with the "whine and whistle". It also takes a lot of shock out of the drivetrain. Here is a video of my huey with Century predator nitro mechanics converted to electric with a homemade motor mount. very easy and inexepnsive to do.
