Default DX9 throttle hold alarm (ver 1.09)

All my models give me an alarm if radio is turned on with throttle hold (TH) off, except one model. I've looked at all the different settings that seem probable to control this with no success. Can someone point me where the setting is to turn this option on?

That was it, thanks. Not very intuitive though. Wish someone would write a thorough book on the DX9, I would buy it!!

I considered it. I have most of a rough draft. Problem is that it is a monumental effort and you may be willing to pay for it but the general population would expect HK to publish it on their site for pennies on the dollar. Thats what we have forums for.

I had a book that was written for the DX7 (or was it the DX8) and it was a real blessing. But, I understand it would be a significant task!!

Not to mention that everytime features and functions get updated that the book would need revisions as well. This happens fairly often with these radios so it would be a constant chore. Your not the only one who requests it. Maybe Ill give a little more consideration to making it happen.
Right now my time is limited.Between work and forums and emails I barely have time for my own flying interests and projects.
I think there is a wiki being built at RCG. Maybe Ill just look into a more concentrated effort to keep that complete and up to date.

Press Clear button to cancel any alarm. This way you can keep throttle hold alarm. I like the notification the alarm gives me.

True that Clear will cancel alarms. It wont cancel Warnings setup in the Warnings menu. An Alarm and a Warning are 2 different routines. You must satisfy the Warning parameter to Cancel and allow the radio to finish its boot cycle to mainscreen.
The other thing some run into is getting a Warning configured so that it cant be normally satisfied. In this case you must hold Back and Clear to enter System Setup at powerup, navigate to Warnings menu and reconfigure so that the Warning condition can be satisfied and allow booting into mainscreen.

Congrats. Its a powerful radio once you learn how to use it to its fullest.
Dont hesitate to ask questions. You can PM me but try to ask in an open thread then everyone gets to learn.
