12 pinion on Synergy E5.

Oh yea. Still flying it has a standard 550 size with Cyclone 555 blades. My friends say it flies better stretched with Cyclone 615 blades and lower HS. Well I am not so sure. I like the agility and the fast roll rate of the model with 555 size blades.

I use MKS brand servos, a very small 1250 mah 2S lipo for a receiver pack. Also run satellites instead of a standard RX. Also a castle ICE2 120 ESC. Not sure if this helps but it weighed about 3674 grams with Pulse 35C 5000 and a Quantum 4125-1100KV. The change to 12s added about 43 grams additional weight from the heavier lipos.

you want fast cyclic, swap those cyclones out for rails. i found the cyclones to be very lethargic on cyclic vs the rails.

Surprisingly enough I found that even Rail 716s are faster on cyclic than Cyclone 695s. Rails are just awesome. VERY responsive blades.

Ok. Kind of the opposite for me. I flew the model with 556 Rails and it seemed floaty and slow. But each is own I guess.

Interesting... I flew the 716s and cyclone 695s back to back there was no question which was faster. I've never tried any other Cyclones, I guess I figured they'd scale down similarly.

Well flight was successful! Man does she have a ton of power! Totally Unboggable. Makes me wish I had done the changeover earlier. Faultless too. Flies just the same as before but with the torque to take anything I could throw at it. As far as the glacier 6s lipos, they rock! Tic tocs for days baby!

Yes, the pinions are interchangeable between the E7SE and E5.
