Spektrum missin' the boat ?
Don't get me wrong: I love my Spektrum radio ! I've been flying my DX-8 for quite some time now and it fits my hands perfectly. Also, I was one of the early adopters back when Spektrum put the 1st edition of the DX-7 on the market. Everyone was switching to Spektrum back then.
Now, most of the guys in my club however fly either Jeti's or Graupners and their telemetry suite and programming features are capable beyond anything that Spektrum has produced so far. It's beyond my comprehension why I have to use an extra module (TM1000) to even be able to have telemetry on top of these already annoying satellite receivers. This would all be acceptable if at least they would provide a mAh "fuel gauge" indication / telemetry feature! Anyone know if they are working on something innovative so my next radio can be a Spektrum again...!?

Is this one (which finally came to life recently) not working?

It looks like the AR7350 and AR9350 have the functionality of the TM1000 built in.

I was thinking more in the line of an HighVoltage AR7210BX that can pull all those data from any ESC (at least the ones that have data log capes...).
Not a fan of extra boxes... If JLog can do it why shouldn't the receiver be able to ?

I admit I have not seen those, but you'd still need all the separate wires/modules...

I was just hoping for Spektrum to rather be more innovative than reactive, just like they used to be when they stirred up the radio market by introducing 2.4GHz.

So to avoid the pain of the learning curve with Jeti (not soon, but thinking about it...)
