First I changed them both to governed setup mode.
HP05s + HP03t (12 magnets) P-Gain=9 Governed at 67% Throttle = 100-75-50-75-100 No changed in the tail BD-14 + HP03 (6 magnets) P-Gain=9 Governed at 75% Throttle = 100-75-50-75-100 Tail Startup +1 Both my BL mcpx’s were flying great. Came home from work and charged some batteries. Started with the HP05, in the first 30 seconds it through a pitch link, broke the battery holder and put a dent into the 550. So I switch birds to the DB-14, 2:30 minutes into the flight, it spun the pinion in mid flip, no other damage. Think I should have started up the work laptop and put some time into the current project, instead of trying to have a little fun and fly. ![]() Moral of the story Fly over grass If I clean the pinion and shaft, would threadlock green hold on the pinion?

Green works great on slip fit pinions. If it is a press fit you may need to open up the pinion a bit let the Loctite in.
