Just got my V120d02s V2 with devo 7e. Really like how stable it is. Tail is solid compared to stock Blade 130x.

Trying to set Timer using Postion switch? Manual is bit confusing. I want to use either UP and Down button to start and stop the timer.

What is recommend lipo that will fit the Devo 7e battery slot?

Don't waste your time with U/D buttons. Use the throttle channel to activate and stop the timer.

I use a 2s 800mah lipo pack in mine. (the original 10c pack from my LamaV3)

Here is the set up for the Throttle stick timer.

1. power on radio and enter the MODEL menu
2. go down to/enter the STICK POSITION SWITCH menu
3. under SWITCH select SPS 0, 1, 2, or 3 SW your choice, (I use SPS0 SW)
4. under CHANNEL select Throttle
5. under POSITION press L- till you reach L98%
6.under ON select HIGH
7.exit the MODEL menu
8. enter the FUNCTION menu
9 go down and enter TIMER
10.under TYPE select the one you use
11. under SWITCH select SPS 0, 1, 2, or 3 SW the same one you chose earlier ( SPS0 SW in my case)
12. exit to main screen power off the radio and you're done enjoy not having to remember to start or stop the timer
this will activate your timer and stop the timer at take off and landing. press Down to reset as normal or power off between packs your choice.
Does that solve the issue?

No problem. I have the same NEW V120D02S and a 7e. Its my favorite bird right now. Did you get the red or the green canopy? I got green

I got the green color like this color much easier to see. LIke the Devo 7e also since it fits my smaller hands. Overall solid bird

Nice! The green definitely makes a good contrast to help out knowing orientation once you get her pretty far out. Anyhow here's a vid of me flying mine. Its best to watch on the small player. Full screen makes it too blurry. Enjoy.

Where did you guys purhcase from and what was the best price? I want one of these but trying to find the best price! I have a MCPX BL and do not like how it flies at all, so imprecise.

The Devo 7e is excellent, I just got a Devo 10 as well for my Gaui X3.

I highly recommend the Range mod (Diode removal) and adding switches to the 7e. Range mod was a little challenging but I just removed the diode and used conductive ink to connect the points. Range increased greatly! I would fly my Gaui X3 with it but the antenna direction worries me. I oriented it horizontally inside the Tx which helps a little as well.

the Switch mod is great, once you set it up with the Advanced GUI in deviation you can change your DR/EXP rates with the flip of a switch, Throttle rates or curves, Gyro rates, etc.
