LOCTITE 248 THREADLOCKER Stick ,
how does the stick work out? is it as good as the liquid bottle?

Liquid loctite usually holds a bit stronger.
But i've been using the 248 for a long time, works good. It's safer for the bearings, and the loctite never dries.
I find it a bit expensive, but a stick lasts for a year for me.

I've been using the stick for about a year, and haven't had any problems with it not holding. Easy to apply exactly where you want it.

I have been using the stick for about two years and It work great. No waste as with the liquid and don't get in the bearings.

+3 years on the same stick. there's virtually no waste, and IME works equally as well as the liquid. it also makes it much easier to apply only to threads without it dripping in to bearings or bushings where it does not belong.

Thank you. I'm doing my first build. I've had a number of bind to fly helis and have done extensive repair but never a ground up build. I'm so glad that there is this product. My first real hurdle was the tail assembly on a TREX 450. Of course it came with all the screws very loose and when I tried to only put a very small amount of thread lock on the tip of the screws, the threadlocker still wicked up into the bearing surfaces. So, no good. Had to disassemble and start over. Very frustrating.

There is what is supposed to be a fantastic product called NYLOCK. But so far all I've been able to find is a one quart can for about $300 dollars. I'm not sure it would be good for very small screws but I'd love to try it. Anyone know about it?
