Default Concerned about new purchase

Well... I crashed my Trex 600N a few weeks ago and decided on the 550e FBL with the 3GX. I have a DX8 and AR8000. Not sure what the results of my first set up and flight with be after reading all the threads on the 3gX resets. One question I do have is whether I can just use receiver and the one satellite or do I need to get a second satellite?

Thanks,

Bert

You need two sat......And I have about 180 minutes of flight time on my 550 3gx works great.... So far.......! that's about 26 flights not counting test hovers... Running a DX7 with the new DSMX satellites ... Oh I do use a CC BEC Pro set for 6 volts and both power wires are plugged into 3GX...

Default Remote receivers

So, I'm confused. I'm reading from the Align 450 pro FBL manual that says you have to plug 2 remoter receivers into the 3GX unit, is this in addition to the one that is plugged into my JR R921X reciever making a total of 3 for the heli. Or do they mean just plug 2 into the 3GX unit and not have 1 plugged into the JR Receiver?

u either run 2 directly from the 3gx (each sat is its own RX) or you just connect the 3GX to your receiver and run either one or two sats from that. u never need 3 sats.

For any heli bigger then a 450 u need 2 sats if u run them straight from the 3GX.
