Do you work in the aviation industry?? You seem to have some experience with composite...
We are a few guys working with real helis and interested in this hobby. If you pass by Les Cedres (near Vaudreuil) some times, and want to stop to show us that ''beast'' at our hangar, let me know, I will arrange something, you will be welcome.

No I am not in the aviation industry, I am a sale Rep, It is the love for R/C that push me to know how to make some fuse. I started with small project and after 15 years I am up to what you are seeing here.

MARS,

That is a great looking heli. She looks like an Agusta EH101 Canadian Rescue diecast model I have in my collection. A five blades rotor head would really complement it's scale appearance.

A flying video would be fun to watch. Good job!!!!

Your are right it is at the base a Agusta EH101 (here is a reprint from the National defence site)

The CH-149 Cormorant is a fully certified off-the-shelf civilian utility helicopter. Modified from the military specifications of the European EH-101 medium-lift military transport helicopter, the CH-149 includes search-and-rescue-specific equipment and physical characteristics and performance requirements to meet Canada’s SAR responsibilities.

That is the next step up and with a 4 blades tail rotor.

Here is a video of the maiden flight, the flight was no smood it needed a lot of adjustment

Cool My first scale build -- Trex500 Airwolf

My maiden flight other than some test hovers in my yard. Crap was I nervous.

I have always loved the way the Airwolf looked. Too bad it wasn't dark so you could see my nav lights. Maybe next time.

Thanks, Video credit goes to my long time freind. I just did the flying. Since that flight I learned I had my idle-1 setting screwed up. Won't say what I did, but it made it hard to have a smooth landing:o

A couple photos of the screen I added to keep the bugs out, and my nav lights.

Still need to mount the guns and rockets, but I wanted to paint them as the plastic looks a little cheap. First I need to learn to airbrush.

I just want to say that everyone on this forum has great looking scale birds. I can look at the photos for hours. My woman thinks I got issues, Haaa, I know I do
