Setting Cyclic question

Howdy,
I'm running a BestX on my Goblin 630 with a Futaba 8FG. I set the cyclic at 6 degrees and got a blue light. When I just turn on everything I test out the cyclic controls and get plus/minus 12 degrees when I use my elevator and aileron controls. I know I am saving the setting. Any help? Do I just need to adjust the travel in my radio?

In menu J you are simply telling the Beast X how much servo throw gives 6 degrees of cyclic pitch. If it likes your resolution, you get a blue light. You are NOT setting how much overall cyclic pitch you will get in that menu. That is done in menu L, and you definitely want more than 6 degrees. Menu L is like setting the limits on your rudder servo. You are telling the Beast X how far it can move the servos without binding. You will want all you can get, just in case it needs it. You will set your flip and roll rates with endpoints as long as parameter B is set to transmitter.
