I agree those servos are not the best. Trouble is they are probably likely to fail early due their quality, and when the bird goes in and you're faced with a repair bill.... there goes your budget!

If you really are on a tight budget and can't stretch to 65HB's (I strongly agree these really are the minimum), then maybe (through gritted teeth) consider Tower Pro SG90's or better still the metal geared MG90's.... a lot of us including myself used them when starting out with 450's. How can I put it, they are OK and at least proven.

Still go with the Hitecs though!!

I have HS 65mg already on there. I was wondering in FBL setup, having a digital servo, will that make a difference?

I am just trying to see... if i wanna go digitals then what are my cheaper options.. I donot wanna spend 50 bucks a servo.. may be 15-20 a pop..

With respect, then you will appreciate that at least half decent digitals cannot be bought cheap as chips.

Lol. True... So recommend a half decent digital servo please!

Align ds410m any good? Someone selling their two servos for 30 bucks total.

Then I'll need one more haha!

Than go for align 410's. just make sure when you are installing them that they are not pinched...that's the primary reason why they fail

Savox 0257MG's maybe?

http://www.readyheli.com/SAVSH0257MG...o_p_37110.html

Not sure how close they are to DS410's? Some guys in my neck of the woods are pretty happy with them on FBL.

They are the same as the DS410M's, like EXACTLY the same. Same manufacturer, same specs, different casing

I had a feeling they would be at least very close as we all know Savox make the Align DS range.... didn't have time to directly compare specs!
