Thinking about selling 3d for the X
As some know i picked up my first 4503d last week, with some minor adjustments i was able to get it flying pretty well but i can't get the x out of my head and want one. Here's the thing, i can't get it now but if i sell the 3d than ill be able to buy it the same day. I like the idea of having 2 450's but lets be honest...how often would i actually fly the 3d (outside of crash downtime) there isn't much interest in the forums for the blade 450, not even any low ball offers but ive placed it on eBay and I'm sure it'll sell there but I'm just not sure if i should really keep.

Keep the 450 3D
I have 3 450's. 2 stock and 1 I converted to FBL using a HK head and a AR7200BX I got from ampdraw for $190.00 shipped.
1 450 is stock and 1 is stock in a scale fuse. I fly all 3. I noticed the 450X uses the same servos as the 450 3D. The only difference is the AR7200BX, a slightly bigger motor, and CF blades. I don't do 3D so the stock motor works just fine for my style (or lack of) flying. Just my thoughts and what I did.

You won't get any big money selling the 3D on eBay so I suggest you just fly it and learn from it. When you have a major crash then I would consider upgrading to the 450 X. These 2 helicopters are completely different animals in comparison so that really is my best advice....Hope this helps.....

I have both and fly both about equally. For as similar as they are, they fly very different, and I enjoy both for different reasons. If you want an X, save your money, enjoy the 3D and then purchase the X when funding allows. That way you will have TWO very enjoyable helicopters to fly, and even if one is down for repairs, you will still have another to fly.

Buy the X head and RX, and convert? Didn't Horizon say they were going to be putting out a kit to upgrade the 450 3D to the 450-X?

Cost isnt worth it at all, but a new one for about $400 from a few different places mentioned a few hundred times.
Sell the 450 3D or keep it to mess with
