Default Gasser conversion xcell 60?

Many of the parts for the MA line are interchangeable I think. Is it possible to convert a xcell 60 into a gasser with a zenoah? Not sold on the os 15 yet.

Default Yes, possible

You'll need new lower frames, rails on the bottom to hold the gas engine. Also you'll need a gasser clutch and fan and shroud. You can use the top 1/2 of the frames and the tail and the servo tray from the 60.

I am guessing the 1005 parts Raja? I will need a different pinion also or do I just buy the clutch bell with pinion and block?
I know you have some 1005 parts, any that I would need?

Hey Raja...I have an X-Cell 60 SE... Could I convert that into a gasser? Possibly using the O.S. 15 gas motor? It might be a better fit for a 60 size heli...

Just a thought...

Default Yes

I used to convert 99SE kits into gassers for MIT but you'll need alot of parts and $$$s to do it. I mean you'll need an engine, muffler, clutch system, fan, shroud, lower frames, stronger upper frames if they were too thin (nitro ones) and some spacers and such.

Its certainly possible if you want to do it, and the 99se was the bling of the bling machine so making it into a gasser at the time yielded a gasser upgraded to the max.
