Devin, thanks for sharing that video.
Were you flying the governor on the stock Hobby Wing ESC or curves? |

nice video, great flying, what headspeed are you running?
so 4 min with a 2200mah means roughly 5.5- 6min with a 3000-3300mah battery,so for people sport flying and not throwing it around that hard, about 7-8 min, possibly a bit more.that is awesome as we are getting closer to nitro runtime territory, with hardcore performance.

I'm getting 6 minutes easily with 3000 mah 20c lipo's and i'm only putting 1800 mah back in !! My headspeed is 2050.
But i'm not a hardcore 3D pilot Grtz, Dirk

I tached Dave's heli that you were flying at 2150. I would like to fly this thing on an 11T governed to 2200rpm.

No way its 2150.. his packs die off quick as well, but they are old.. Nothing compared to some TP 45C

I think an 11t governed to ~80% gonna be the sweet spot on this heli - might try that this weekend !

I preorderd the kit without the ESC and I bought a CC Ice 80HV. Using the gear ratios for the 6HV and computing in the ESC programming software, it will take an 11T to maintain a 2100-headspeed in Gov, mode. According to the software a 10T does not leave enough headroom to govern a headspeed of 2100.
Of course, this is just what the software says and the proof will be in taching the actual heli. I went ahead and ordered an 11T also just in case I need it. Now..., where the heck are those kits? |
