It sounds like this is your first collective pitch heli. Put it away for now and go to the the newbies forum and start there. Despite what the advertisement says, that heli is not suitable for a beginner. Look around this site and you will see a wealth of useful info to get you started. Also, check the Walkera web site they should have an exploded view of your heli that will help you with the rebuild along with set up forums in this site. Good luck

Do as chriscbowe says if you can . If you do decide to continue put training gear on it and find a smooth surface and practice with tail in and just light on the training skids . Do not lift off of the ground untill you can contol heli in all orientations . You can learn on that heli it just takes alot of time . My firtst heli ever was a collective pitch heli by helimax witch was a little larger than the master . If you choose another heli maybe get a genius flat pitch size heli and go from there . Oh yea it took a flight simulator purchase to finally learn with out going broke .

There are exploded view diagrams on this forum to help you get your heli back together. Definitely get training gear and a simulator so that you have a basic understanding of the controls.

Hi Richiow

Take it from me thisis NOT a beginner Helicopter !! I had this since January and had it in the air Once since then when I crashed it. Rest of time has been repairing it with the wrong setup. Only this week have I managed to get it back together after a few crashes and a swap of the whole frame because I broke tail boom and front part where receiver is.

Thanks to 5488fletcher I now have the Heli like new. But have the Training Gear on and just learning movement on the ground.

It is fairly easy to swap frames over only a few bearings to remove and the motor, receiver and tail boom.

The hardest part is getting the Servos, Swashplate and Blades correctly setup.

Here is a link of an exploded view of the Heli

http://reprol.free.fr/Master_CP_ex.pdf

I would go for a 4 Channel for now to learn the same as I am.. I ordered a V911 to start with.

Ay help you need on swapping frame let me know.

Kevin

At least the parts are easy to find and cheap to purchase. I started to take apart mine just to replace the stripped servos but ended up taking everything apart and found that it was easy and there aren't that many parts. Good luck.

Default Many Thanks...

Would just like to say thanks to all that has offered advice to my posted question.
My wife decided to purchase me a new replacement for my birthday & since then I have only been hovering & getting used to the control.
So now I have plenty of spare parts as the major componants servos etc are working.
Taking my time on this new hobbie & dont intend to even try to fly untill I have mastered the basics.
Thanks again for your help guys
