120HV was with factory setting, except soft start. Landed with THold, then back to 80% for a swift take off. It's when the ESC burst in flame. I only guess that a bad connexion on the + side of the ESC and a quick draw of current melted the poor connexion and started the fire. Only a guess though. Lucky that the batteries didn't short cut, all electronics are alright. Just waiting for a new one to fly again. I can't see what I would change.

I'm waiting on my 700 also but am considering going 710 blades, 10s and geared for 1750 hs.

Hey Cliffman looks like the burned up version to me.

All kiding aside I am glad the heli made it out without to much damage.

Put an ohm meter across your motor leads , 2 at a time, sounds like 2 of them are shorted out.

What should I read on the ohm meter?. I've got something like .06 between them. Which seems that there is a direct link between them!.
