Default Beast X vs Beast Hd

New to flybarless helis and here good things about user friendly Beasts and Captron Demon units. If I was to get HD Beast could I use it like the regular X Power wise and later use the high voltage port. Thanks

I used a 2s lipo through the servo pins to power my two HD units for updates via studiox. All the same power bus right?

Hi,

please note this is not a "high voltage" port. This is a "high power" port! You can power the system with any voltage between 4.8 and 8,4Volts. The high power connector only is there to give an adequate power connection for todays servo with high current consumption. An additional feature is that you can switch the system on and off when using this port. So you don' t need an additonal switch when using a battery to power the unit.

Anyhow there is no must to use this high power port. You can also simply connect the power source using the standard pin board on the top just like with the "normal"/small Microbeast. Only drawback is that you can't use the switch then.
