Default Mystery Hirobo Nitro

Hi guys

A work colleague has recently offered to sell me a Hirobo Nitro heli that was flown in the 1999 RC championship in South Korea by the winner. Apparently it is a tricked out heli with special electronics that was sold to my colleague because the sponsor upgraded the winner to the next year's model.

I am told the rotor disc is about 1200-1400mm and the heli stands about 500mm high.

Does anyone have an idea on the details of this heli and how much it may be worth?

My colleague hasnt flown it.. He bought it for his son who was not interested in flying it so it has sat there for about 10 years now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Jay

Hi Jay:

I honestly don't know what the value is. I guess it is whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Is it a Shuttle Plus or a Shuttle Plus 2...? I purchased a Shuttle Plus that was built in 2002. It is in great shape and came with a bunch of extra parts minus the radio and a decent receiver. I am still on the fence as to whether or not the telebee GR703 gyro is any good. I paid $250 for the package. I have since added an AR7000 receiver and purchased a DX7...So if your heli has an old receiver, gyro and no receiver...well ..it needs help.$$$$ Here is a link to where I posted some pics of the one I bought. PS the guy I bought it from was asking $300.

Thaks for that Bob

I went through some pictures with the guy who is selling it and he says it looks identical to an evo. It is in RTF condition with transmitter, receiver, gyro, etc...

I will take some pictures sometime in the next few weeks and post them in order to better identify the birdy.

Cheers
