Default Bearings

I want to replace my stock worn out bearings. I'm considering Avid and Boca Bearings to get some new ones from. Is there a particular bearing that I should consider? I think they both have the same size bearings in numerous types. I know ceramic is the best, but which bearing type should I consider? Thanks!

Long time, no see Usman If it were me, I'd skip the Boca ceramics and purchase standard bearings for it, whether from Boca or Avid. Avid has good bearings, good support, and excellent value for your $, so, I'd go with them for the 450-3D.

Which bearings are you replacing?

Good advice. Ceramic bearings are generally a nice, but unnecessary expense. They're also fragile. The ceramic balls will chip or fracture in a crash. The only place I'd consider using ceramic bearings is in a brushless motor where they're fairly well protected and the advantages of high speed/high heat tolerance can be most utilized.

I am trying the ceramic balled bearings in my 600 electric. I replaced the bearings in the motor, motor pinion support, main shaft, torque tube and umbrella gears, all the bearings that are in the high revolution areas. Cost about $55.
