Default GRAUPNER POLARON EX 1400

Anyone try or have any thoughts on this new charger? I had two PL8s but one died on my after 3-4 years of great service so, I either get another PL8 or try something new. I like the fact that you can get 730watts per channel at 24v whereas on the PL8 I only get 1000watts max on 24v.

To this day I still recommend the iCharger 4010 Duo. I've not heard of Graupner nor seen one before.

I haven't evaluated one of these closely. But I was glad to see they increase the balance current. Older Polarons use 300ma. I couldn't find a list of complete specs that include things like input current limit. There's a couple big threads on the Polarons on RGC. I know prices vary by region, but you may want to compare it to the cost of Dual Powerlab.

€360 delivered in Europe verses over €500 for the Dual PL8. The iCharger does look good too but despite one of my PL8s going down - it's not easy to move away from such a reliable workhorse of a charger. That being said I still have one but need another charger as both a back-up and way of charging - I've a lot of packs and it takes time to charge them all when I come home from flying.

If you haven't done already, it might worth to see what it costs to ship from Revolectrix in Singapore.

Looking into that but may be just as expensive with shipping and custom chargers onto. Thanks.
