I went through all the parts availability issues with the MCPX V1, and even before that with the SR, so I'm definitely familiar with all of that.

The major difference here, compared to those, is the monsterous delay. That's what sets this apart and as such I believe should have been handled in a special and unique way to get the helis in-hand as soon as possible.

Also, like I was saying:

"They could have released a statement saying they're releasing with less parts than they wanted to, but wanted to get the heli in the hands of those who have been waiting."

But anyways... enjoy it when it gets here!

Out of curiosity, I was under the impression that the mcpx release was delayed. How long was it delayed for?

Haha, nope. I never used the word 'expert' in reference to my skills.

I think my point was pretty clear, in that I, as many others are capable of flying without crashing - it's usually when we push ourselves that we crash. That said, if I had the 300X in had, I would fly within my limits in order to keep it in one piece until the parts arrived.

Either way - it's not hard to understand why a company wouldn't release a product like this without ample parts availability.

Late breaking news - all the non-option parts have arrived & passed incoming inspection, so we started shipping the 300X today.

Can I get a woo hoo?

No problem, sometimes you just have to spell it out for people.

That's the best news I've heard all year. My 550 is crashed, and my 700 is just too expensive to fix to really enjoy. I'm stoked.

My LHS called today. There is a 300X waiting for me!

Looking forward to this bird!

Has anyone who preordered from ampdraw gotten a shipping notice yet?
I ordered feb. 7th. Hoping I'm early on the list.

For what it's worth it's on the shelf at my LHS. Held and examined one yesterday.
