Power Jive Programming Question

Let's say I have programmed my esc by doing a mode 1 reset, then programmed mode 4 and mode 9. Everything went as it is supposed to with all to es acknowledging the steps.

Later on I decide I need to program mode 10 in. Should it be ok to just add mode 10 without starting over with mode 1?!

I would like to know if this SHOULD work. I did this and the results were not good but I can't tell from the manual if this is something that should never be done
The manual does say the effects of the modes are cumulative or something lie that

The manual states clearly that you can program mode 10 (KSA) in addition to any other mode.
You can try to go back and reset with mode 1 and go directly to mode 10 and see, if the result is different.

Yes , it does but do you have to program all modes wanted at the same time.

I did mode 1 reset, mode 4 then mode 9 . I tried it out on the heli spooling up twice . Then I added mode 10 and attempted to spool up but the soft start was gone and other problems including what appears to be a dead esc

I was wondering if I had started over with mode 1 reset then 4, then 9 then 10 if the outcome would have been different

no I seriously doubt that, sometimes the jive can get confused although I only had it once where my friends jive was dead, reset on cp brought it to life again. same with old power jazz, I'm a bit confused though since you say soft start was gone so it's still working?

Stolla, no, it isn't working.

I set it up like this, mode 1, mode 4, mode 9 and tried to fly it. It seemed good but after maybe 30 seconds it did a soft cutoff . I autoed in , looked at the esc for blinking lights, saw none and spooled it back up. This time I just hovered in one spot for 20-30 seconds and it had another slow or soft cutoff.

Next Instead of starting over with a mode 1 reset ,... And trying mode 10, I just added mode 10. I got the proper tones including the "phone ring" at the end.

I went back out and tried to spool back up in normal flight mode with 0-60-60-60-60 as before and the heli acted as if there was no soft start. It jerked nose left violently. At this time there were no codes blinking. I tried it one more time with the same results only this time at low stick, 0 throttle there was no solid light or any light on the ESC .
I have not been able to get any response from it simce

sometimes wires double back against esc it will not response, have you tried moving wires away from esc. If all else fails you should be able to do reset with cpanel. Not impossible its damaged but I suspect programming that went bad

I hope it can be reset.
I sent it to Mike at Nankin and he is going to have it checked out by guy that really knows kontronics stuff
It shouldnt be burned as it neve even warmed up
