Default Aluminum Vigor tailcase

I bought one of the aluminum tailcases from Mike Leipzig for my CS, and I have finally (!) had the chance to see how it works.

I have to say, it is a good part. I cannot hear the gear whine that I used to on spool up, so the mesh has to be more consistent and the backlash was much easier to set after I took the whole thing apart and figured out how.

On top of all that, it just looks sweet.

Ivan

I don't even own a camera. I guess when helis stop sucking up my $$$ I will get one, and I might be able to wrestle it away from the wife for a few seconds, but that will be in a galaxy far far away.......

I have the nekked kind. I like the looks of the satin finish, and the black though.

I bought mine from Mike at the Springfield FF, and I don't think they had started anodizing them at that time yet.

I really am impressed with it. I think the price is $65, but don't quote me. If you have a vigor and are worried about the tail case coming apart, this is what you need.

Now if he can make a titanium torque tube and boom set, the tail of my Vigor could be crash proof!
