Default Scorpion V2 or V3 motor choices?

Scorpion has a newer "version 3" motor out but I see some retailers still have the "old version 2". My question is if the price difference is $80 is the version 3 really going to be that much better or, like most things, the difference are in the marketing and most of us won't notice any perceivable difference between the two. Of course it is nice to have the latest and greatest but I never want to spend another $80 unless it is truely a noticble difference.

I fly sport and just starting to learn mild 3D stuff like tic tocs and piro flips and am starting to put together a Fusion 50 so I am looking at the the 4025-550 motor...

well i hear the V3 runs cooler and more efficient, so you get slightly longer flight times and its got a little more power.

as of so far the new V3 does sound like its better, i have no exp with them yet. but i have read where people got the new V3 motors.

the V2 motors are great motors, you can go wrong with one of those but if i had to choose between the V2 or the V3 i would try to get the V3 if what i hear is true..
