Some Atoms and Knights just come with purple motors. But it seems many/most are grey.

Default ATOM 500 - FBL

Didn't realise COmpass have FBL head for ATOM, got an RJX before I got my ATOM 500 two days back.
If flown very well with my mini-VBAR.

Nice!

I would opt for the Compass head too, so it matches the rest of the heli and is not so bulky as the RJX.

Can't wait to hear more about how she flies, I'm sure it'll be good!

I purchased the RJX head to use with a Trex 500, but decided to get ATOM so that is why.

They have behaved well so far...if you want some fairly cheap decent servos I'd recommend them.

I've been running a 9T for a while and like it, Darrin "Chainsaw" Reed rocked my heli couple weeks ago an was happy with the power. Most people tell me it is wicked fast, and I just sport fly. I just bought the 10T this week, but it's been raining all week and I haven't had a chance to test it out. Hopefully there will be a break in the rain today or tomorrow and I can report back my thoughts.

well I just finished flying the 10 tooth pinion , it rocks. I 'm no 3D flyer but that little 1 tooth makes a difference the heli is even more responsive. Tic Toc's are easier everything is easier I m liking it. I did see a drop in flying time and my Hyperion 25C 2500 pack will last 4:39 sec and its very warm . my NRG pack last a full 5min nd gets a little warmer than with the 9 tooth. its worth the $10 bucks for more performance

kevinator9: you might want to remove the sticker from the motor. They tend to scare the crap out of people when they come off in flight.
