Default Battery weights - GensAce, Skylipo, Nanotech, Eflight

I bought 8 new GensAce batteries since HobbyPartz specs show them to be over 10g lighter than the Skylipos I currently use. I got them yesterday and unfortunately that isn't the case.

40C 2200 3S Skylipo w/ XT60 connector - true: 194g advertised: 194g - $17.91

25C 2200 3S GensAce w/ XT60 connector - true: 195g advertised: 183g - $19.63

25C 2200 3S Turnigy Nanotech w/ XT60 - true: 183g advertised: 187g - $17.75

30C 2200 3S Eflight (stock) - true: 183g don't list weight in specs - $44.99

It's not the end of the world on the heli, however my Stryker has some COG issues with anything heavier than 183g, which my 25C Turnigy Nanotech's are. Unfortunately they get a little puffy in the 450.

I like to fly a 450 sized heli since they use the Swiss Army Knife of batteries, 3S 2200mAh. I have 2 helis and 2 planes that all use the same size and it'd be ideal if I could use them all interchangeably. The Eflight battery would be the ticket, however the $45 price tag is a bit much.

Lesson learned, buy just one battery when trying out a new brand/type until you see what it really weighs and how it performs.

I'm using ecopower 2200 30c batteries from Amainhobbies.com
They have plenty of punch, weight is 193grams and they are 22.00$ each. Great battery for the price. And they fit nicely under the stock and my fusuno Canopies

You won't regret the Gens Ace.

Best performance for the right price.

Their 25C outperform many 45C from other brands.

I don't care for the extra 12g when it's for a quality battery.
