UK users, battery question
Myself and a friend both have Nano CP Xs, amongst other models. Both of us have the Blade brushless kit installed and we've both been using Overlander 175mAh batteries, which we're happy with. Neither of us is into anything wild, flying-wise.
At present, it seems like the Overlanders are unobtanium, apart from a couple of places with grossly inflated prices and we're now in need of replacements, since our current lot are a bit tired. What are you guys using and where are you getting them from? For preference, we don't want to import from overseas with the attendant customs/postage etc. We aren't averse to paying premium prices for batteries that have a decent life and deliver the power; in the long term quality batteries tend to be a good investment! We have used the Nanotech 160mAh batteries in other models (and still do) but they really don't cut it in the CP X, cheap-n-cheerful as they are.

You can get 200mah 45c turnigy nano-techs now, they are in stock at the moment. If you dont abuse them by charging them fast they will last otherwise 5 or 6 charges like the 160mah they start to weaken. I always just charge them 6 at once but only at 1C. They have been faultless so far. Or you can buy 300mah MCPX batteries, I have modified my nano for them now they work well with the brushless setup... Personally I find overlander are usually overpriced, but thats just my opinion../. |
