Default Nomenclature question - hurricanes vs continual circles

What's the difference between hurricanes and circles, in your opinion?

Is a hurricane simply fast circles in all four orientations (upright, inverted, backwards and backwards inverted), or is there more to it?

There are funnels, piedishes etc out there as well. To me all variations of a very steep turn at speed with different orientations.
