Default CP 2 Inverted flight question

Hi ya guys.. Just purchase the CP 2 system. Hopefully it'll work. Tried CP 1.. Didn't have much luck.. Crashed and destroyed both sensors..junk the whole system.. After reading all the posiitive feedback, thought I'd give it another shot..keeping my fingers cross.

Got a question that I was hoping someone can help me with. Read from the manual that after we switch from 3D mode to OFF mode, the heli will automatcally flip itself from inverted hover to level flight. Do we need to provide +ve pitch input during the process?

As we are in -ve pitch range during inverted, would't the heli drive itself to the ground if we take our hands off the sticks during the flipping process? Btw, I'm a Mode 1 flyer..

Cheers

Yes, you will still need to fly the collective on bailout. However, its very natural to add collective if you are in trouble so I dont think you will find this to be an issue. I can asure you, you wont simply take your hands off the sticks in a bailout situation so adding collective is a simple task.

sorry to jump in an an old thread but mine is on the way and i have reading up a bit in the situation you described you are talking about switching from mode 2 to mode 1 or inverted to level flight not simply switching the CP2 off that would just leave you inverted with full control. right?
