Default Headspeed + batts = what flight time?

I would like to know what head speed your running, what batts you are using and how long you are flying for because at 1750rpm I was getting 6mins leaving 24% so its making me think that everyone getting long flight times are flying a much lower head speed?

Is this correct??

Thanks

That is correct. I split my flights between 1700 and 1850 using 13.5 pitch. I get about 4:30 with a hair over 20 percent left in the 5000 mah packs.

I fly a mix of mostly 1600 with some speed passes at max hs ungoverned (about 1950/2000) with my timer set at 6 mins but I always go a min over.

Using 4000 turnigy 30c.
Scorp 4035-530 13t.
Using no more than 70% capacity.
Smooth sport. No smack.

I've got some 5000 turnigy 25c which give about the same time because of the extra weight.

Lol, another parameter is flight style, ghosting around with sports aerobatics at 1400RPM I get 9 minutes easy on 4.5Ahr packs with plenty to spare.

Today I flew at 1650 and got 6mins with 34% left. I then dropped it to 50% (from 60%) but I don't know what rpm that is as MrMel's HS app don't show 50% but I won't go that low no more as it was too low, it was doing what I wanted it to do but very border line. So I think I will settle at 1650 as my lowest point.

I fly at 1650 most of the time, 1500 if I feel really relaxed. 1650 is fully capable without too much work on the collective
My field and skills are bit too small for 1850 for time being.

3D flight:

1250HS about 10 min
1350 HS about 9 min
with 4000mah 12 setup

3D at this slow headspeed is not to be missed. The blade noise is pretty much all you can hear and it sounds awesome. No tail blowouts although the tail at 1250 is a little "softer" definitely lends itself to torque releasing piro maneuvers.
This is really where the TDR shines...

1650 big and mixed with soft 3D = 8 min. with about 30 % left on 12S 4000.

1900 headspeed, Pyro black edition, TP65c 5000's, i get about 4.5m hard 3d... but 5+ min of 'medium hard' 3d..
1800 headspeed adds quite a lot.. almost a min longer. i think 1800 head speed is significantly more efficient.
2000 headspeed drops closer to 4 mins.. maybe 4 and some change..

with 'special' motor and 'non standard (not 12s) ' battery setup..

2400 headspeed, 17pitch, continuous full collective passes
2 mins of (very) high speed flying

pucker factor - priceless
