Excellent piece of work. Nicely shot and edited. great sound.

I did find the dissolves a bit too fast though, especially for some of the opening shots and later during the dream sequence. Also you might try and pull the sleeping lad partly through some of that excellent flying footage rather than cutting back to him if your editing software allows it.

overall though a very nice piece of work. bravo! enjoyed watching it!

I really like it... A few suggestions that I think would be cool. Slightly longer clips of assembly, but less of them. The one shot of him running across the yard from right to left, the blurry spinning shot, then the best run and throw... Start out with the plane in focus maybe at a low faster speed as though he just threw it, then somehow have a servo slowly pull the plane back and the camera focus on the landscape, then have the plane reappear before landing.

Just a thought, I couldn't do it so... Great job.

Excellent concept .. as we all share our thoughts .. i figured i could add some of my own... I really enjoyed the boy entering the world of flight via a dream... i found myself wanting the camera to zoom past the model airplane fixed to the heli to complete the dream from a passengers perspective to birds eye view.. true feeling of solo flight.. becoming increasingly daring in flight manuvers.. nice nice work though... I want more!!

Don't take this as a negative review...

When I was in Air Force pilot training, they showed a video very similar to this one. It was a highly produced version though, with a boy who dreams all his life through dream sequences of being a pilot when he grows up. He sees real pilots throughout his life and eventually grows up to be one.
